On Thursday 9 July, we’ll be hosting a screening of the National Emergency Briefing’s (NEB) film titled the People’s Emergency Briefing at the Arnolfini in Bristol, followed by a panel conversation bringing together a range of perspectives on climate, leadership and the transition ahead.
We’re delighted to be joined by an experienced and thoughtful panel for a discussion after the film, chaired by Philippa Hann, CEO of Paradigm Norton.
Our Panel
Professor Tim Lenton OBE | Chair in Climate Change and Earth System Science, University of Exeter

One of the experts who features in the People’s Emergency Briefing, Professor Tim Lenton OBE is Chair in Climate Change and Earth System Science at the University of Exeter, where he was founding Director of the Global Systems Institute.
He has more than 25 years research experience, focused on modelling life’s coupling to the Earth system, biogeochemical cycles, climate dynamics, and associated tipping points. Tim is world-renowned for his work identifying climate tipping points, which informed the setting of the “well below 2°C” climate target.
Recently he has highlighted the opportunities for positive tipping points to accelerate social change towards net zero greenhouse gas emissions and global sustainability. In 2025 he was awarded an OBE “for services to understanding climate tipping points.”

As a local B Corp, we believe financial planning is about helping people live thoughtfully in the world as it is, and the changes underway will shape that context.
This film offers a shared, evidence-led starting point for discussion in Bristol, bringing together business leaders and professionals, including those less familiar with sustainability issues.

About the Evening
Following the screening, we will host a structured conversation focused on what this evidence means in practice, for organisations, governance, risk, resilience and decision‑making in the Bristol region.
We hope the evening creates space for thoughtful conversation, shared learning, and a deeper understanding of what this moment asks of all of us.
Everyone is welcome – contacts, colleagues, friends and neighbours (16+). Limited spaces available with all proceeds going to Global Returns Project (GRP), who support climate and nature charities.
