Tom Desborough

Client Manager

Tom has worked as financial planner since his mid-twenties. He is a Chartered Financial Planner, a member of the Personal Finance Society and is a Register Life Planner® through the Kinder Institute of Life Planning.

Tom initially trained at an international financial advisory firm before spending some time at an accountancy practice and then moving on to a specialist ‘life planning’ firm of financial advisers. He has now moved his life to the South West and is a proud member of the Paradigm Family with the team in Exeter.

Tom is passionate about connecting people with their core values, helping them break through any limiting beliefs that get in the way of them living a life of meaning and purpose, and then building a solid financial plan to support that vision.

Outside of work

When not thinking about financial planning Tom can often be found with a book in his hands; Often reading non-fiction in the philosophy or psychology categories but also enjoys a good novel. He also likes to keep fit and healthy spending much of his free time in the weights room, the swimming pool or on the yoga mat.
