Paraplanner/Financial Planner

We’re looking for a technically excellent paraplanner to join our Financial Planning Hub. The Financial Planning Hub is a fantastic opportunity for a career paraplanner to champion and provide high-quality technical expertise and financial planning support. 

Responsibilities

Within the Financial Planning Hub, you will collaborate with a variety of Client Managers, working together to build and implement financial planning solutions to meet a variety of client needs and personal goals. You will also work closely with other members of the Hub team, developing resources and defining best practice to help support paraplanners across the business.  

As part of the role, you will be involved in: 

  • Producing high-quality client recommendations, covering a wide range of financial planning areas including pensions, investments, estate planning and protection. 
  • Undertaking technical research and analysis for existing and new investment portfolios. 
  • As appropriate, assist with dealing.
  • Providing technical support to client managers and other paraplanners. 
  • Contributing to development of best practice within the Financial Planning Team. 
  • Continuing your personal and professional development, maintaining up to date knowledge of legislation, investments, and technology. 

Role Requirements

  • You’ll have excellent knowledge and experience of all areas of financial planning – cashflow planning, investment portfolio management, tax planning, pensions, protection, estate planning etc. having worked in a similar role for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Diploma qualified as a minimum, if not already Chartered and/or Certified.
  • Highly proficient in financial planning software such as Intelligent Office, Voyant (or similar) and Virtual Cabinet, leveraging such technology to streamline processes and analysis.
  • You will have a strong technology, problem-solving and mathematical aptitude.

We are open to part-time applications, whereby you work a shorter working week, or prefer shorter working days.

As we currently operate a hybrid working model, we welcome applications from further afield, although we do require travel to our offices on either a fortnightly or monthly basis for training and teambuilding events.
